SK Chemical Reports Q4 Sales of 322.9 Billion KRW and Operating Profit of 16.4 Billion KRW Last Year
SK Chemicals announced on the 7th that it recorded sales of 322.9 billion KRW and an operating profit of 16.4 billion KRW in the fourth quarter of last year based on separate financial statements.
Compared to the same period last year, sales increased by 12%, while operating profit decreased by 35.6%.
SK Chemicals stated, "Despite uncertainties in domestic and international conditions, sales volume of some key products increased, resulting in external growth, but increased selling and administrative expenses were reflected in the performance." They added, "Although a global economic downturn is expected to continue this year, we will improve profitability through expanding sales centered on high value-added products and optimizing and stabilizing operations."
Based on consolidated financial statements, SK Chemicals posted sales of 431.6 billion KRW and an operating profit of 6.4 billion KRW in the fourth quarter of last year.

Meanwhile, SK Chemicals also announced that it decided on a cash dividend of 250 KRW per common share and 300 KRW per preferred share as a year-end dividend. The dividend record date was December 31 of last year.
