Gwangju Gwangsan-gu Council Concludes the 285th Extraordinary Session
The Gwangsan District Council of Gwangju Metropolitan City concluded the first temporary session of the year on the 1st with the end of the 2nd plenary session.
At the 2nd plenary session held that day, a total of 12 agenda items, including ordinances and general proposals, were approved.
Eleven items, including the ordinance on fostering and supporting local enterprises, were passed as originally proposed, while the partial amendment to the parking lot ordinance was approved with modifications.
Following this, council members Guk Gang-hyun, Kim Young-seon, and Kang Han-sol delivered 5-minute free speeches, presenting in-depth opinions on district administration and pressing public issues.
Chairman Kim Tae-wan stated, “This temporary session was a valuable opportunity to share the blueprint for the new year’s district administration and to discuss directions for development together. I hope the executive branch will actively reflect the recommended measures in major projects and do their best to create a district administration framework that resonates with the residents.”
