The newly joined players include a range of athletes from experienced veterans with awards from the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games to mid- and junior-level players with experience in the national representative reserve team, which is expected to strengthen the team's overall competitiveness.
The BPA rowing team has been training hard since the 15th at Jangseong Lake Rowing Stadium in Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do, preparing for this year's season, which will kick off with the Asian Cup Rowing Championships and the Tangeumho Cup National Rowing Competition held in April at Tangeumho Lake, Chungju.
Having won 2nd place (silver medal) in the mixed double sculls category at last year's National Sports Festival and secured a spot in the Asian Cup international competition, the team started winter training earlier than usual this year.
Accordingly, BPA is providing early support from professional trainers to prevent injuries and help athletes maintain peak condition during the winter training period.
Since its establishment in 2004, BPA has operated a women's rowing team to expand and promote marine sports, achieving excellent results in various competitions every year.
