View original imageYoo In-chon, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, will meet with thirty-two heads of overseas branches of the Korea Tourism Organization from twenty-two countries at the Dragon City Hotel in Yongsan, Seoul, on the 30th. In celebration of the "2024 Visit Korea Year," he plans to urge them to aggressively promote Korean tourism marketing. After the meeting, he will also attend the Korea Tourism Organization's overseas branch business briefing, emphasizing the need for the government, the tourism organization, local governments, and the industry to pool their capabilities and fully engage in Korean tourism marketing. Minister Yoo stressed, "To usher in the era of 20 million foreign tourists, we must carefully conduct surveys on interests and demands for Korean tourism by region and target group and implement tailored strategies." He added, "As the saying goes, 'A journey of a thousand miles begins beneath your feet,' let us gather all efforts and actions to achieve this grand goal."
