'Muan-gun's Snow Removal Efforts in Full Force Amid Third Day of Heavy Snowfall'

County Governor Kim San and Senior Officials Clear Snow on Major Roads in Muan-eup Urban Area

Jeonnam Muan-gun (Governor Kim San) has been making every effort to swiftly clear the snow, which reached up to 20cm in some areas from the 22nd to the 24th (as of 7 a.m.).

According to the county, the Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters activated Emergency Level 1 and is proactively responding by pre-spreading deicing agents and deploying 135 snow removal vehicles and 264 personnel.

Additionally, on the 24th, Governor Kim San instructed all staff to carry out snow removal around the government office and city streets, and he personally worked alongside senior officials to clear snow on major roads in Muan-eup, breaking a sweat.

Governor Kim San stated, “We will ensure perfect and smooth snow removal operations so that residents’ daily lives are not disrupted,” and added, “We also ask residents to actively participate in clearing snow in front of their homes and stores.”
