Spreading Cases of Blind Spot Damage in Multi-family Housing and Neighborhood Facilities
KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 24th that it will conduct a campaign to prevent jeonse fraud damage in collaboration with webtoon artist Kikeuni, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and the Korea Housing & Urban Guarantee Corporation.
This campaign is based on real stories selected through a public contest. On the 23rd, KB Kookmin Bank posted a message titled “Jeonse Fraud Damage Prevention Campaign, Kikeuni Draws to Prevent Damage!” on Kikeuni’s Instagram account to start collecting stories. The campaign will also introduce prevention methods related to blind spots in jeonse fraud types, such as multi-family houses, trust registration, and neighborhood living facility buildings.
Kikeuni is a daily life webtoon artist and illustrator who serializes commissioned comics on Instagram. The artist communicates only through drawings without revealing their real name or face and gained popularity with works like “I Draw Anything You Send Me” and “Cheer Up Kikeuni Naming Studio.” Kikeuni also exerts positive influence by recruiting volunteers for abandoned dog service activities and donating to child meal support projects.
A KB Kookmin Bank official explained, “Jeonse fraud crimes frequently occur among university students, newlyweds, and young professionals who lack contract experience,” adding, “We will provide useful information to help prevent jeonse fraud easily and effectively by using webtoons familiar to the younger generation.”
