Metal Bag Containing Drugs Also Found at the Scene
A group of individuals who collectively used drugs at a residence in Seoul have been handed over to the prosecution.
On the 23rd, the Jongno Police Station in Seoul announced that four men and women were sent to the prosecution on the 17th on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act. One person who was with them tested negative in a preliminary drug test and is currently undergoing a detailed examination.
They are suspected of using methamphetamine at a residence in Pyeongchang-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, around 9 a.m. on the 11th.
On the day of the incident, around 8 a.m., the police received a report from a woman saying, "My husband might die," and classified the case as domestic violence before rushing to the scene.
However, no signs of domestic violence were found at the scene, and five adults were staggering with slurred speech. The police confirmed signs of drug use, such as injection marks on their arms.
At the residence, which belonged to one of them, a suspicious metal box was also found. Inside the metal box were large amounts of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

A police official stated, "We are conducting further investigations into how they obtained the drugs, any additional crimes, and whether there are other users."
