Suwon City, All Public Officials to Take 'Integrity Administration Pledge' on the 22nd

Suwon City announced that on the 22nd, Mayor Lee Jae-jun, First Deputy Mayor Kim Hyun-soo, Second Deputy Mayor Hwang In-guk, and heads of each department took the 'Integrity Administration' pledge before the current affairs meeting, while other public officials took the integrity pledge by department.
The pledge was made by reading the Integrity Administration pledge aloud and then signing it by hand.
The main contents of the pledge include ▲ contributing to the creation of an honest public service culture ▲ prohibiting the acceptance of undue benefits during job performance ▲ prohibiting improper interference and instructions ▲ rejecting organizational culture based on connections such as school ties, regional ties, and blood relations ▲ prioritizing public interest over private interest ▲ providing trusted administrative services through compliance with duties of kindness and fairness ▲ practicing compliance with the Anti-Graft Act and the Code of Conduct for Public Officials.
They also pledged to accept any punishment or disadvantage according to relevant laws if they violate the pledge.

Mayor Lee Jae-jun of Suwon City said, "The level of integrity that citizens expect from public officials is steadily increasing," and urged, "All employees, including senior public officials, should handle their duties kindly and fairly according to citizens' expectations and complete the Integrity Special City through proactive administration."
