Kremlin "Coordinating Putin's North Korea Visit Date" (Update)
Russian President Vladimir Putin is coordinating the date for his visit to North Korea, but it has not yet been finalized, the Kremlin announced on the 19th (local time).
Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesperson, held a briefing that day and, when asked about President Putin's schedule for visits to T?rkiye and North Korea, said, "There is no exact date yet," but added, "Coordination is underway through diplomatic channels, and we will inform once it is confirmed."
From the 14th to the 18th, Choe Son-hui, North Korea's Foreign Minister, visited Russia, held talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, and also met with President Putin. It is believed that during this process, they discussed the schedule for President Putin's reciprocal visit.
President Putin accepted the invitation from North Korean State Affairs Commission Chairman Kim Jong-un to visit North Korea during the Russia-North Korea summit last September.
