Ulsan Agricultural Technology Center to Promote New Technology Dissemination Pilot Project This Year
5 Pilot Projects in 5 Fields, Applications Open Until February 2
Ulsan Agricultural Technology Center (Director Shin Taeman) is promoting various new agricultural technologies to improve farmers' income.
On the 19th, the Ulsan Agricultural Technology Center announced that it will invest a total of 659 million KRW this year to implement the 2024 New Technology Dissemination Pilot Project, consisting of 11 projects in 5 fields.
This year's pilot projects include: ▲ 1 project in the crop environment field, 'Support Project for Stable Disposal of Farming By-products' ▲ 2 projects in the horticulture field, including 'Technology for Expanding the Distribution of New Strawberry Varieties' ▲ 4 projects in the livestock field, including 'Pilot Project for Quality Improvement of Hanwoo Fattening Cows Using Agricultural Food By-products' ▲ 3 projects in the healing agriculture and floriculture field, including 'Customized Healing Farm Representative Model Development Pilot Project' ▲ and 1 project in the fruit tree field, 'Pilot Project for Distribution of Domestically Developed New Persimmon Varieties.'
Applications are open to farmers and organizations in the Ulsan area, and applicants must prepare the necessary documents for each project and visit the Agricultural Technology Center to submit their applications by February 2.
The Agricultural Technology Center plans to select the final candidates in February after on-site investigations and evaluations.

An official from the Agricultural Technology Center stated, “We plan to expand the dissemination of various new technology projects to increase farmers' income,” and added, “Local farmers and agricultural organizations are encouraged to review the implementation plans and details of each pilot project and submit their applications within the deadline if they wish to participate.”
