Gurye-gun Continues Donations for 'Hope 2024 Sharing Campaign' Fundraising
Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that donations for the "Hope 2024 Sharing Campaign" continue to be received.
Since January 1, Hyemiwon Korean Medicine Clinic (Director Ryu Myunghwan) donated 1 million won, the Marine Corps Gurye Veterans Association (President Jo Yeonho) donated 500,000 won, the Sumijeongsa Temple Believers' Association donated 500,000 won, and Park Jinsook from Gurye-eup donated 500,000 won.
The donors said, "We participated in the sharing campaign with the hope that it would help neighbors in need during the cold winter, even if just a little," and added, "We hope to overcome the current difficult situation together and that Gurye-gun becomes a warmer and happier city."
Kang Bonggil, head of Gurye-eup, said, "Although these are difficult times for everyone, we thank all those who showed concern for neighbors in need, and the donations will be used meaningfully through the Community Chest of Korea."
