KEPCO "557 New Hires This Year... Timely Promotion of Large-Scale Transmission Network Construction"
Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) announced on the 17th that it will conduct a new employee recruitment of 557 people this year to secure essential personnel for timely promotion of core projects such as large-scale power transmission network construction and implementation of the Distributed Energy Resources Special Act, as well as strengthening on-site safety.
KEPCO's recruitment scale this year is 557 people, of which 183 people in the first half of the year (127 college graduates, 11 high school graduates, and 45 electrical workers) are being recruited earlier than usual in January. This is about 2.1 times the previous year's recruitment performance (266 people).
A KEPCO official explained, "We calculated an appropriate recruitment scale considering the resolution of the recruitment number due to an increase of about 2,000 personnel before 2022 and the organizational restructuring to overcome the financial crisis," adding, "We will also hire experiential youth interns to provide young people with various work experience opportunities."
