Woman Found Dead at Hangang Park... Purchased Weapon Herself
The weapon found at the scene along with Ms. A, a woman in her 30s who was found dead by the Han River last weekend, was confirmed to have been purchased by the deceased herself.
On the 10th, the Gwangjin Police Station in Seoul announced that on the 6th, Ms. A left her home around 1 p.m. and bought the weapon. Later, she entered the Han River Park near Olympic Bridge alone around 7:30 p.m.
Earlier, the police responded to a report around 8 p.m. on the 6th stating, "A person has fallen into the Han River and is not moving." The body was found with damage to the chest area, and the weapon was discovered at the scene. On the morning of the 8th, the police revealed that the autopsy results showed Ms. A died from excessive internal bleeding caused by a self-inflicted stab wound to the left side of her chest.
