Ham Jung-woo Donates Medical Expenses for Pediatric Cancer Patients' Treatment

Competing in Next Week's Bahamas Great Exuma Classic
Last year, Ham Jeong-woo, the winner of the Korean Professional Golf Association (KPGA) Korean Tour Grand Prize, participated in a donation.
He recently donated 20 million won to Seoul Asan Medical Center to support medical expenses for underprivileged patients, showing a warm-hearted gesture. At the donation ceremony, his wife Kang Ye-rin, a former Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour player, and their daughter Ham So-yul joined him. The donation will be used to support children with cancer. Ham Jeong-woo said, "Since So-yul was born last year, I have become interested in pediatric diseases. I hope this helps economically disadvantaged children with cancer receive treatment."

Ham Jeong-woo received the grand prize last year by finishing in the top 10 eleven times, including one victory. He secured a conditional status on the Korn Ferry Tour by finishing tied for 45th at the PGA Tour Qualifying (Q) School. He will start the new season at the Korn Ferry Tour opener, the Bahamas Great Exuma Classic, which begins on the 14th.
