Proposal to Hold Public-Private Forum with Domestic and International Research Institutes to Discuss Directions for Unification Issues
Park Jae-kyu, President of Gyeongnam National University, attended the "New Year's Meeting Inviting Former Ministers of Unification" hosted by the Ministry of Unification at Lotte Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul on the 8th.
The event was attended by Kim Young-ho, Minister of Unification, Park Jae-kyu (26th Minister of Unification), as well as seven former Ministers of Unification including Son Jae-sik (10th), Lee Hong-gu (14th and 20th), Kang In-duk (24th), Hyun In-taek (35th), Ryu Woo-ik (36th), and Hong Yong-pyo (38th).

It has been four years since the former Ministers of Unification gathered in one place. The Ministry of Unification organized the New Year's meeting to invite former ministers to hear their vivid experiences and valuable opinions on the recent situation on the Korean Peninsula and the future direction of unification policy.
