The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on the 8th that it will operate the 'K-Startup Integrated Pavilion' at CES 2024, the world's largest electronics and IT exhibition held in Las Vegas, USA.
CES is an exhibition hosted by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) in the United States, where global major companies and innovative enterprises participate to showcase future electronic products, allowing attendees to grasp the latest technologies and trends in future industries at a glance.
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups will operate the integrated pavilion under the brand name 'K-Startup' in collaboration with 26 participating organizations including public institutions, local governments, and universities at the CES Eureka Park. The booth size has been significantly expanded to 91, an increase of 40 from last year's 51.
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups will support the startups participating in CES 2024 with individual exhibition booths, online and offline promotions, hosting startup demo days, business matching with investors, and local consultations and networking activities.
Additionally, the Ministry has provided pre-event support such as innovation award strategy consulting and innovation award application training since last September, resulting in 10 out of the 91 participating companies being selected for the 'CES Innovation Awards.'
Minister Oh Young-joo stated, "CES 2024 is a great opportunity for our companies to understand global market trends and establish overseas expansion strategies," adding, "The Ministry of SMEs and Startups will actively support domestic startups to showcase their excellent technology and innovative capabilities to the world and create new business opportunities abroad through CES."
