Military: "North Korea firing artillery north of Yeonpyeong Island"... Artillery fire continues for third day
It has been reported that North Korean forces conducted firing near the northwestern islands in the northernmost part of the West Sea on the 7th as well.
A military official stated in the afternoon, "North Korean forces are conducting firing north of Yeonpyeong Island."
Ungjin County also sent a text notice saying, "Currently, artillery fire is being heard from the North Korean side," and "The Yeonpyeong unit is responding, but residents are advised to be cautious when engaging in outdoor activities."
