Foreign 'Buying' Also Insufficient... KOSPI Falls to 2580 Level Intraday
Down 0.92% Compared to the Previous Trading Day
Despite foreign investors switching to buying, the KOSPI index fell to the 2580 level during the session.
At 2:27 PM on the 4th, the KOSPI index recorded 2583.08, down 24.30 points (-0.92%) from the previous trading day, widening its losses. The KOSPI opened at 2592.44, down 0.57% from the previous day.
Foreign and individual investors bought 24.7 billion KRW and 623.1 billion KRW respectively to defend the index, but it was not enough. Institutions sold a net 665.3 billion KRW, pulling the index down.
Among the top market capitalization stocks, all are declining except NAVER (0.68%).

The KOSDAQ is down 7.10 points (-0.81%) from the previous day, standing at 864.47. Individuals purchased stocks worth 258.4 billion KRW, while institutions and foreigners sold 85.9 billion KRW and 167.4 billion KRW respectively.
