Gwangjin-gu Supports Tuition Fees for 500 Middle and High School Students Taking 'Gangnam Ingong' Courses
500 Middle and High School Students Residing or Attending School in Gwangjin-gu Eligible... Apply from January 8 to January 12 via 'District Office Website' or 'Gwangjin Education Information App'
Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) will support the tuition fees for the online learning program 'Gangnam Ingang' to reduce the burden of private education expenses and provide high-quality educational programs.
The support targets 500 middle and high school students residing in or attending school in Gwangjin-gu.
'Gangnam Ingang' is an internet CSAT broadcasting service provided by Gangnam-gu Office, featuring over 20,000 courses and 68 diverse instructors. The district has signed an agreement with Gangnam-gu Office to use a group tuition pass costing 45,000 KRW per year.
Students enrolled will only pay a personal fee of 10,000 KRW after the district's support of 35,000 KRW for one year, allowing unlimited access to the learning content. Support is limited to one person per household, but siblings may share an ID.
The application period is from January 8 to January 12, and applications can be submitted through the 'District Office Homepage' and the 'Gwangjin Education Information' app.
Application results will be individually notified on January 17 through a computerized lottery.
