Through a three-stage evaluation process consisting of the first written assessment, second online public voting, and third presentation evaluation, 20 out of 68 cases submitted by all BPA departments were selected as outstanding cases.
The grand prize was awarded to ‘Busan Port Safety Keeper, Birth of the Port-type Hi-Pass,’ a mobile app independently developed to integrate 10 container terminal companies and applied on-site.
This case received high praise for converting the paper delivery receipts, which all trucks using Busan Port previously received upon terminal entry, into a mobile app and providing real-time port operation information, thereby minimizing drivers’ unloading time within the port and contributing to port safety.
Additionally, three cases were selected as grand prize winners: ▲Leading the era of fully automated ports centered on domestic technology ▲Overcoming the greatest financial crisis since the establishment of the authority through the advancement of the financial budget system ▲BPA Hope Storehouse, where sharing continues 365 days a year with the phrase “When the granary is full, the heart is generous!”
Four cases of work improvement received excellence awards: ▲Establishing the largest number of regular routes in Busan Port history with 287 routes ▲“BPA will handle the hard work! Our companies only walk the export path!” ▲Leading a corporate culture that harmonizes work and family ▲Introducing drones born in 2023 to Gamcheon Port, originally established in 1990. Additionally, 12 other cases received encouragement awards.
