President Yoon Attends Year-End Ceremony... "Overcoming Crisis with Sensible Policies"
President Yoon Suk-yeol (photo) attended this year's year-end ceremony held at the Yongsan Presidential Office on the 29th to encourage the staff.
In his remarks that day, President Yoon said, "This year, the economy was really difficult due to high interest rates and high inflation," adding, "Together with you, we implemented reasonable policies and overcame many challenges and crises."
He continued, "To protect national interests and the welfare of the people, I will rely on you a lot again in the new year."
Kim Dae-gi, Chief of Staff, and Cho Tae-yong, Director of the National Security Office, who are leaving the Presidential Office in the new year, also attended the year-end ceremony.
Chief Kim said, "During my multiple terms working at the Presidential Office, there has never been a time when the state affairs situation was as difficult as this, but thanks to the President's steadfast leadership, we were able to do well, and foreign media highly evaluated our economic performance."
Director Cho said, "Anyone who sees the President conducting summit diplomacy up close would feel proud."
It is known that before attending the year-end ceremony, President Yoon received various work reports and refined his manuscript while reading his New Year's address for the next year.
