Dongyang Life Insurance Obtains Re-Certification as a 'Family-Friendly Company' Hosted by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family

Through family-friendly HR policies and various flexible work systems, Dongyang Life Insurance has once again obtained certification as a family-friendly company.
On the 22nd, Dongyang Life Insurance announced that it was certified as a family-friendly company by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family this year as well, following the certification in 2020. This certification is valid until the end of November 2026. The family-friendly certification system, established by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family since 2008, grants certification to companies that have made efforts to help employees balance work and family life through a review process.
Dongyang Life Insurance explained that it received high scores particularly in the introduction of family-friendly HR policies and the implementation performance of family-friendly systems. Previously, Dongyang Life Insurance introduced the ‘PC Off’ system, which automatically shuts down personal PCs after working hours to eliminate unnecessary overtime culture. Every Wednesday is designated as ‘Sweet Home Day,’ allowing employees to leave work an hour earlier than usual.
Additionally, the company operates systems such as flexible working hours that allow employees to adjust their start times according to their individual circumstances, the half-day leave system, encouragement of parental leave (up to 1 year and 6 months), support for family health checkups, family care leave, and support gifts for employees’ children who are exam candidates.
