This robot, trained with deep learning algorithms, can perform recycling sorting tasks faster and more accurately than humans. Its operational accuracy is 99.3%, and it can sort 96 pieces of waste per minute. Compared to global competitors, it ranks among the world's best. The operating time of waste resource sorting facilities increases by 150%, and based on two workers working 8 hours a day, operating costs per hour can be reduced by 700%.

After pilot testing in 2021, commercialization began last year, and currently, more than 10 Aitrons are active in workplaces across the Seoul metropolitan area. EightTech envisions operating a robot resource sorting center with a 'fully automated system' run solely by robots in the future. It is expected to solve long-standing issues in the waste disposal industry such as aging workers and labor shortages, as well as overcome workplace safety challenges.
