Jeonnam Fire Department Holds Rescue and Emergency Medical Services Policy Council Meeting
Deliberation and Resolution of Major Initiatives for 2024
The Jeonnam Fire Headquarters (Chief Hong Young-geun) announced on the 20th that it held the '2023 Rescue and Emergency Medical Services Policy Council.'
The council was established to develop and discuss policies related to rescue and emergency medical services.
On this day, 15 experts attended, including Chief Hong Young-geun, Kim Byung-sung, Director of the Provincial Food and Medical Department, and professors of emergency medical services from within the province.
They reviewed the status and major achievements of rescue and emergency medical service policies throughout 2023 and deliberated and resolved the key tasks for 2024.

Chief Hong Young-geun stated, "Systematic measures are needed to address the changing types of disasters, such as heavy rains caused by abnormal weather and various accidents," adding, "We will do our best to gather diverse opinions and provide high-quality rescue and emergency medical services."
