Gyeonggi Office of Education to Strengthen Fair Recruitment of Educational Public Officials from Next Year... Guidelines to Be Established
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education has established the "Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education Fair Recruitment Guidelines for Educational Public Officials" to enhance the fairness and transparency of the recruitment process for educational public officials, which will be implemented starting January next year.
The fair recruitment guidelines consist of 27 articles, including ▲ matters related to the selection of screening committee members during recruitment ▲ measures for remedying victims of recruitment corruption ▲ management of recruitment fairness, among others.
In particular, when recruiting educational public officials, a deliberative body will be formed to review and decide on recruitment plans such as timing and scale. At least one-third of the screening committee members will be external members, and detailed regulations for document screening and interview processes will be provided to guide the recruitment procedure standards for educational public officials.
Additionally, standards have been established to cancel the acceptance of candidates who fraudulently pass and to actively remedy victims of recruitment corruption. If victims can be identified, they will be given the opportunity to reapply at the recruitment stage immediately following the stage where the damage occurred.
The Provincial Office of Education plans to form a Recruitment Inspection Committee to fairly manage the entire recruitment process by inspecting all stages of recruitment.
