Busan Gangseo Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, 12 Companies Participate to Hand-Make 1,700 Kimchi Heads
In celebration of winter, leading companies in Gangseo-gu, Busan, personally prepared kimchi to share warmth with socially vulnerable groups.
Korea Racing Authority Let's Run Park Busan-Gyeongnam (Head Song Daeyoung) participated in the 'Love Kimchi Sharing Campaign' hosted by the Gangseo-gu Comprehensive Social Welfare Center on the 6th.
On the 7th, the Racing Authority announced that they conducted a volunteer activity to share love kimchi for delivery to vulnerable local groups.

View original imageAt the event held on the 6th at the Gangseo-gu Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, 12 companies from the Gangseo-gu area including Busan New Port Corporation and Korea Racing Authority, along with about 130 housewife volunteers, directly prepared 1,700 heads of kimchi. The 250 boxes of kimchi made that day were delivered to low-income families.
Song Daeyoung, Head of the Busan-Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of Korea Racing Authority, who personally joined the kimchi-making with employees, said, “I hope the lovingly prepared kimchi will bring warm comfort to neighbors in need.”

Hwang Seokyoung, Director of the Gangseo-gu Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, said, “With recent price increases, the food expenses burden for vulnerable groups must have grown, so local representative company executives and volunteers gathered their will to hold this kimchi sharing event to help even a little,” adding, “We hope this will be a warm gift during the cold winter.”
