Samsung C&T Resort Division announced on the 4th that Everland will hold the winter festival 'Bao Family in Wintertopia' from the 8th of this month until March 1st of next year.
The festival will feature new content related to the panda family, as well as Christmas activities and snow activities available only in winter.
At the Everland main gate in the Global Fair area, 'Bao Family Special' content starring the panda family will be showcased. In the central plaza of Global Fair, a newly installed giant panda ABR (Aero Balloon Robot) called 'Giant Bao,' inspired by Poobao, stands four stories high (about 12m). A Hall of Fame podium featuring Everland characters including the panda family, red panda Resi, and butterfly fairies has been set up. Various photo zones such as a 7m panda tree, Santa bus, and Rudolph are also provided.

Before Everland opens, the 'Winter Good Morning Poobao' experience program, where visitors can meet Poobao every morning, will be held throughout December. Reservations can be made in advance via the Everland mobile application. Next month, a new panda gallery called 'Bao House' will be introduced, where artists, celebrities, and customers participate to exhibit works depicting stories of the panda family and their keepers.
Since the 1st of this month, the 'Live Butterfly Experience Center,' where visitors can meet butterflies, heralds of spring, in the middle of winter, has been operating in the Global Fair area. Visitors can see about 5,000 butterflies of six species daily, including swallowtail and tiger butterflies, flying around.
Until the 1st of next month, the 'Bling Bling X-mas Parade,' marching with white snowflakes to carols, and the dance performance 'Very Merry Santa Village,' telling the story of Santa’s village, are held daily. After the live musical show 'Lenny’s Great Adventure,' actors perform a Christmas sing-along show, dancing and singing carols with children. Santa and fairy Christmas photo times are also held throughout Everland.

Everland’s representative garden, the Four Seasons Garden, has been transformed into the 'Winter Fairy Garden' tended by fairies. Visitors can take 'life photos' with butterfly fairies dressed in winter clothes. Media art videos themed on winter, created by artists Jang Jinseung and Oh Myocho, are screened regularly on a large LED screen. A multimedia fireworks show is held every night until the end of this month. The 'Snowman World,' opened on the 1st, exhibits snowmen gathered from around the world. Winter activity contents such as the snow sledding area 'Snow Buster' and the snow playground 'Snow Yard' will be operated sequentially from mid-month.
An Everland official said, "We prepared this festival hoping that customers will spend a warm and happy year-end and New Year with the panda family, including Poobao, who received much love throughout this year."
A special event allowing visitors to fully enjoy both Everland and Caribbean Bay in one day is also underway. Through the 'EVER 2 CABI' package offered on the Everland mobile app’s smart reservation, visitors can purchase Everland tickets at about 30% discount compared to the regular price until the end of next month. On the day of Everland use, visitors can enter Caribbean Bay for free and enjoy the warm Winter Spa Cabi. Caribbean Bay customers can also enjoy Everland for free from 4 p.m. on the day of use through the '1+1 Event,' which runs until March 3rd of next year.
