CU Partners with Hyundai Department Store Group for Membership Alliance
Use H Point Like Cash
Convenience store CU announced on the 3rd that it has formed a membership partnership with Hyundai Department Store Group, allowing H.Point to be used as cash at more than 17,000 CU stores nationwide.
CU has partnered with Hyundai Department Store Group's integrated membership program H.Point, allowing customers to use the H.Point they have accumulated at CU as cash.

H.Point is an integrated lifestyle membership service involving 8 affiliates and over 50 brands of Hyundai Department Store Group. Through this partnership, customers can use H.Point at CU convenience stores starting from a minimum of 100 points in increments of 10 points, up to a maximum of 20,000 points per month. When paying, customers only need to present the barcode on the H.Point mobile app.
CU will offer an on-the-spot discount of 1,000 points to the first 2,000 customers who use more than 5,000 H.Points at CU by the end of this month. However, tobacco, alcoholic beverages, volume-based waste bags, securities, and similar items are excluded from the discount.
Customers who use H.Point at CU and enter the event page on the H.Point app will be entered into a drawing where one first prize winner will receive 500,000 H.Points, twenty second prize winners will receive 50,000 points each, and one hundred third prize winners will receive 5,000 points each.
A CU representative said, "The partnership between the H.Point membership, which has over 10 million members, and the convenience store will greatly enhance the convenience of point usage," adding, "We will continue to provide a convenient shopping environment through partnerships with various companies."
