Appointing 16 Members to the Gangseo-gu Airport Height Restriction Easing Promotion Committee
Jin Gyo-hoon, Mayor of Gangseo District, held a regular meeting of the Gangseo District Airport Height Restriction Relaxation Promotion Committee on the 30th to discuss measures for the early implementation of the international standards for height restriction relaxation.
The district reviewed the committee's activities this year, including submitting opinions on the draft revision of international standards, and decided to urge preparations for legislation to enable the early implementation of the international standards for height restriction relaxation, scheduled to take effect in 2025 (full implementation in 2028), based on active public-private cooperation.
They also discussed ways to utilize leaflets created to increase residents' understanding of the airport height restriction relaxation.
On this day, Mayor Jin appointed a total of 16 committee members, including 4 technical committee members (experts in the aviation field) of the Airport Height Restriction Relaxation Promotion Committee.
