Asia Culture Scholarship Foundation Donates 10 Million Won Scholarship to Honam University
The chairman of the Asia Culture Scholarship Foundation announced on the 30th that on the afternoon of the 29th, he awarded a total of 10 million KRW in scholarships to 10 international students currently enrolled at Honam University at the Faculty Meeting Room on the 3rd floor of the Honam University Headquarters.
At the award ceremony, Park Sang-cheol, President of Honam University, Lee Seong-o, Director of Planning, Lee Dong-woo, Director of Student Affairs, and Son Wan-i, Director of International Exchange, attended, along with Kim Myung-gun, Chairman of the Asia Culture Scholarship Foundation, Kim Seon-ho, Chief of Staff, and Kim Tae-yeon, Manager.
The scholarship recipients included five students from Mongolia, three from China, and one each from Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, each receiving a scholarship of 1 million KRW.

Chairman Kim Myung-gun began his relationship with Honam University by donating 10 million KRW to the university development fund in 2019. He subsequently awarded 5 million KRW in global talent development scholarships to 10 Mongolian students in 2020, 10 million KRW in scholarships to 10 international students including Mongolians in 2022, and this year donated 20 million KRW to the development fund and 10 million KRW in scholarships, bringing his total cumulative donations to Honam University to 55 million KRW.
