Dongwon Construction Industry Appoints Jo Seongjin as New CEO
Former Daewoo Construction Executive Director Nominee

Dongwon Group announced on the 30th that it has appointed Cho Seong-jin, former Executive Director of Daewoo Construction, as the new CEO of Dongwon Construction Industry, a subsidiary in its construction business division.
CEO Cho graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Architecture and worked at Daewoo Construction for 36 years. During this period, he served as Head of the Housing Business Team, Head of the Audit Office, Head of the Housing Construction Business Division, Head of Strategic Planning Division, and also as the Head of the Vietnam THT Corporation.
Dongwon Group expects CEO Cho, an engineer by training who has experience in both business and various management areas, to lead the solid growth of Dongwon Construction Industry as a 'management-oriented CEO.'
A Dongwon Group official stated, "Amid increasing management uncertainties such as the downturn in the real estate market, we expect CEO Cho, who has long built his capabilities in organizational management, to present new perspectives and visions for the solid and sustainable growth of Dongwon Construction Industry."

Meanwhile, Dongwon Construction Industry is a comprehensive construction company building various structures including commercial buildings, hotels, hospitals, educational and cultural facilities, as well as social infrastructure such as roads, railways, and golf courses. According to the construction capability evaluation rankings announced by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, it ranked 61st as of last year.
