The Gwangyang Bay Area Free Economic Zone Authority (Commissioner Song Sang-rak, hereinafter referred to as Gwangyang Economic Authority) announced that on the 29th, it held the "2023 Second Half Foreign-Invested Companies On-site Meeting" at the Rakhee Hotel in Gwangyang City, with the participation of about 14 foreign-invested companies (hereinafter referred to as foreign-invested companies) including POSCO HY Clean Metal, Gwangyang Aluminum, and IIW KHP.
This meeting, targeted at foreign-invested companies that have invested in the Gwangyang Bay Area, invited a dispatched officer from the Ministry of Justice under the KOTRA Foreign Investment Support Center to provide practical assistance to foreign-invested companies through guidance and Q&A sessions on investment visas, residence permits, and preferential immigration systems.
A representative from a participating foreign-invested company said, "It was a valuable time as the necessary matters for business management, such as investment and technical personnel visa applications, were explained in an easy-to-understand manner, and we could ask questions about concerns."
An official from the Gwangyang Economic Authority stated, "There was a good response to the practical lecture on personnel and labor issues conducted in the first half of this year, and we will continue to expand to areas such as tax and environment that help foreign-invested companies."
