The Chain Portal is a system independently developed and operated by BPA since 2020, aimed at real-time information sharing among port stakeholders to improve productivity through port operation efficiency and increase the benefits of port stakeholders. It provides services such as Vehicle Booking System (VBS), Transshipment Transport System (TSS), and Integrated Information Inquiry Service (IIS).

Since the pilot operation began in the second half of 2021, the number of subscribers has steadily increased, surpassing 10,000 as of November 2023.

About 100 participants, including representatives from the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, port authorities, and port stakeholders, attended the report meeting and showed great interest in the future advancement direction of the Chain Portal.

The report meeting proceeded in the order of ▲ progress and achievements of the Chain Portal construction project ▲ mid- to long-term plans and future development directions of the Chain Portal ▲ report on the introduction results of the electronic delivery receipt (e-slip).

AllCon-e is a mobile app exclusively developed by BPA for freight truck drivers to conveniently use the Chain Portal’s main services such as VBS, TSS, and IIS on mobile devices.

The electronic delivery receipt (e-slip) built into AllCon-e by BPA digitalizes the existing paper delivery receipts issued at the terminal gate entrance, and is currently under pilot operation until the end of this year.

Through the AllCon-e app, transport drivers can check cargo in/out information in advance before entering the terminal, enabling them to perform their tasks quickly and efficiently without needing to stop at the terminal entrance.

Additionally, tasks such as container inspection, cleaning, and seal receipt, which drivers previously had to check by getting out of their vehicles, can now be confirmed through the mobile app.

Regarding the Chain Portal mid- to long-term plan, BPA announced that it will continue to expand the scope of information linkage, establish a data economy system to revitalize private business in port logistics, and build various carbon emission monitoring and management systems for Busan Port’s carbon neutrality.

Kang Jun-seok, President of BPA, said, “We expect that the introduction of the electronic delivery receipt (e-slip) will allow transport drivers and other port stakeholders to work more conveniently and safely,” and added, “We will continue to promote the digital transformation of the port to strengthen the competitiveness of Busan Port.”
