Busan Office of Education Operates Visiting 'Speaking English Festival'
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education is operating the ‘Visiting Busan Speaking English 1.1.1. Festival’ event for nine elementary and middle schools in the district until the 15th of next month.
This event aims to create a boom in English speaking and enhance satisfaction with English public education through the operation of Busan Speaking English 1.1.1.
The nine schools participating in the event were selected as excellent operating schools of Busan Speaking English 1.1.1. through a preliminary screening.
The event is divided into two parts: Part 1 features English-speaking recreation and quizzes with native English assistant teachers, and Part 2 includes snack truck experiences and photo zone comment posting.
Starting with Haewon Elementary School in Haeundae-gu on the 22nd, a total of nine schools will participate in sequence, including Haebit Elementary School in Gijang-gun on the 30th and Hakjang Elementary School in Sasang-gu on December 15th.

Ha Yun-su, Superintendent of Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, said, “Our education office will continue to support the operation of ‘Busan Speaking English 1.1.1.’ so that students can develop their English communication skills in daily life,” adding, “We will do our best to help our students grow into future talents equipped with global competencies.”
