Hwang Ui-jo Excluded from National Team Selection Until Investigation Results of 'Illegal Filming' Are Released
The Korea Football Association (KFA) has decided to exclude Hwang Ui-jo (Norwich City), who is accused of illegally filming sexual activity videos, from the national team selection until the investigation results are released.
On the 28th, the KFA formed a discussion body consisting of the Ethics Committee, Fairness Committee, and National Team Strengthening Committee members to discuss matters related to Hwang Ui-jo. As a result, they announced that Hwang Ui-jo will not be selected for the national team until a clear conclusion is reached by the investigative authorities.
Lee Yoon-nam, chairman of the Ethics Committee, stated, "National team players have the obligation to maintain high moral standards, responsibility, and honor, and in that regard, they must manage various aspects including their private lives."

Hwang’s side claimed it was a 'consensual video' and denied leaking the footage, but the victim’s side asserted that they did not consent to the filming.
