Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Saewool Nuclear Plant Practices Neighborly Love with 'Sharing Kimchi of Love'
Seosaengmyeon Shares 1,300 Kimchi Cabbages with Neighbors in Need
On the 27th and 28th, Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power's Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters conducted a volunteer activity of making kimchi called "Sharing Love, Sharing Kimchi" at the Sarang Nanum Center in Seosaeng-myeon, Ulju-gun.

View original imageThe kimchi-making volunteer activity involved Cho Seok-jin, the head of the headquarters, about 40 Saewool volunteer members, and around 80 members of the Seosaeng-myeon Women's Association. On the 27th, they prepared and salted napa cabbages and made seasonings, and on the 28th, they mixed and packed the kimchi.
A total of 1,300 heads of kimchi made over the two days were delivered to welfare facilities in Seosaeng-myeon and 145 underprivileged households.
Cho Seok-jin, head of Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters, who participated in the volunteer activity, said, "I hope the kimchi made with love will be a warm gift to neighbors in need," and added, "Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters will continue to faithfully serve as a reliable partner in the community through steady social contribution activities."
