Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it participated in the "13th Busan Organic, Eco-friendly, and Returning to Farming and Rural Living Expo," held for four days from the 23rd to the 26th at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 1 in Busan, providing customized information on returning to farming and rural living to urban residents.
With over 70 local governments participating, this expo was held simultaneously with the "International Food Expo" and the "Tea and Crafts Expo" to expand the distribution market base for related industries such as organic and eco-friendly food exhibitions, offering various attractions and information to visitors.
Gurye-gun promoted excellent agricultural and specialty products produced in Gurye, as well as various processed foods, targeting urban residents who are highly interested in safe and healthy food.
Additionally, to support urban residents dreaming of a second life in rural areas to settle stably, Gurye-gun introduced specialized support policies for returning to farming and rural living, such as the "Residential Agricultural Startup Support Center" and the "Gurye Settlement Nest" operated by the county.
In particular, Gurye-gun received great responses by providing customized text message services to urban residents.
County Governor Kim Soon-ho said, "We will continue to promote various support policies for returning to farming and rural living and do our best to build infrastructure and support projects so that those returning can settle stably."
