Bravo Beaver, a stake-investment type standard workplace for people with disabilities, was established with equity investment from private companies and is a workplace supported by the social enterprise Bear Better, which creates jobs for people with developmental disabilities. It produces fruit syrup, stationery, coffee drip bags, and more.
As part of its project to expand employment for people with disabilities, KB Securities participated in the equity investment when Bravo Beaver Gyeonggi was established in January and has been purchasing products produced by Bravo Beaver every month to donate to welfare facilities. In September, it donated stationery sets for children in group homes, and this time, it purchased fruit syrup sets to help socially vulnerable groups have a warm winter.
The recipient of this donation, the social welfare corporation Daegeon Caritas, was established by the Catholic Uijeongbu Diocese to help poor and marginalized neighbors. It currently directly operates 20 welfare facilities for people with disabilities, children, and youth in eight cities and counties under the diocese's jurisdiction, and also carries out social welfare projects such as youth sponsorship and John scholarship support.
