KCSC Confirms Over 1,700 Illegal Filming Cases... Distribution Blocked
The Korea Communications Standards Commission announced on the 27th at the Communications Review Subcommittee meeting that the content was confirmed as 'illegal filmed footage' such as hidden camera videos taken in private homes and lodging facilities.
The illegal footage includes sexual activity videos filmed in private homes and lodging facilities (38%), videos recording masturbation through video calls, etc. (27%), sadistic sexual exploitation videos (27%), and videos capturing sexual body parts in public places (8%). These are among the 1,736 cases requested for verification by the National Police Agency and the Korea Women's Human Rights Institute.
The illegal filmed footage will be built into the 'Public DNA DB' and subsequently blocked from distribution on domestic internet sites through filtering measures by service providers.
