Man in 60s Wielding Weapon and Damaging Parked Cars Subdued Using Taser Gun
The Mokpo Police Station in Jeonnam announced on the 23rd that they have apprehended and are investigating a man in his 60s, identified as Mr. A, on charges of assault with a weapon and damaging parked vehicles.
Mr. A is accused of wielding a sharp-ended tool at a passerby on Sangdong Street in Mokpo City at around 3:25 a.m. that day, causing injuries, and leaving scratches on a parked vehicle.
The police subdued Mr. A using a stun gun (Taser) after he refused to drop the weapon despite multiple warnings.
Police investigations revealed that Mr. A has a history of causing disturbances on the street.
