Safety Accident at SPL Logistics Warehouse... Injuries to Outsourced Company Employee
On the 22nd, at the SPL bakery factory in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, an iron conveyor carrying items above the head of Mr. A, a subcontracted equipment company employee in his 20s, descended, injuring him.
According to the Pyeongtaek Police Station, around 3:30 PM that day, an abnormality occurred in the operation of the factory conveyor. While Mr. A was inspecting under the conveyor, it suddenly descended about 50 cm, striking his head.
Mr. A sustained serious injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment. It is reported that his life is not in danger. At the time, another employee from the same company was working alongside Mr. A at the site.
