Yongsan Sanghuiwon Donates 700 Bags of Rice to Help Neighbors in Gangseo-gu

View original imageGangseo-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon) announced on the 22nd that it received 700 bags of 10kg rice as a donation for helping neighbors from the social welfare corporation Yongsan Sanghuiwon (Chairman Choi Yeok). The rice donated on this day is scheduled to be delivered to places such as Hwagok Senior Welfare Center and local senior community rooms through the Seoul Social Welfare Community Chest.
District Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon said, "We thank Yongsan Sanghuiwon for extending a helping hand to neighbors in need again this year, following last year," and added, "We will carefully ensure that the donated goods are well distributed throughout the local community."

Established in 2000, the social welfare corporation Yongsan Sanghuiwon carries out various welfare projects for marginalized groups such as people with disabilities and elderly living alone. Last year, it also donated 500 bags of 10kg rice to support low-income families in Gangseo-gu.
