Nowon-gu Mayor Oh Seung-rok Attends Saemaeul Women's Association 'Sharing Love Kimchi Making' Event
On the 21st at 11:30 AM, Oh Seung-rok, the mayor of Nowon District, attended the Saemaeul Women's Association's 'Sharing Love Kimchi Making' event held at Junggye Neighborhood Park.
The kimchi-making event was organized to prepare kimchi and deliver it to marginalized groups, multicultural families, and social welfare facilities within the community.
About 230 participants, including Mayor Oh Seung-rok, members of the Saemaeul Women's Association, and military personnel, took part in preparing kimchi ingredients, arranging workstations, making kimchi, and packing kimchi boxes together.
A total of 500 boxes (10kg each) of finished kimchi were produced and will be delivered to elderly living alone, households with disabilities, and multicultural families.

Mayor Oh Seung-rok of Nowon District said, "I sincerely thank the Saemaeul Women's Association, volunteers, and sponsors who are practicing warm sharing for neighbors in need," and added, "I hope that through the kimchi filled with the warmth of love, marginalized neighbors will feel affection and have a warm winter."
