Carrot Launches 'Dispute Resolution Center' for Peer-to-Peer Transactions
Establishment of Dedicated Organization to Strengthen Self-Regulation
Danggeun announced on the 21st that it will establish a Dispute Mediation Center to create a healthy consumer-to-consumer (C2C) transaction environment. The Danggeun Dispute Mediation Center is an organization independently established by Danggeun to strengthen its dispute mediation capabilities. As the importance of platform self-regulation continues to grow, it explained that it has proactively prepared practical solutions in the dispute areas, which are major issues discussed in the peer-to-peer transaction market.
At the on-site meeting for the launch of the Carrot Dispute Mediation Center to strengthen user protection, Park Yoon-kyu, Vice Minister of Science and ICT, is speaking.

The speed of handling dispute-related tasks will also increase. Danggeun plans to continuously update dispute-related data to enhance the dispute resolution process and actively reflect it in internal functions.
In particular, it plans to establish dispute mediation standards for everyday items with the most active secondhand transactions to increase its own dispute resolution rate. Given that small misunderstandings or emotions often escalate into conflicts due to the nature of peer-to-peer transactions, preparing detailed dispute mediation standards by item is expected to enable faster mediation proposals and dispute resolution.
