Lotte Duty Free Selected as a '2023 Leisure-Friendly Certified' Company by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism
Recognition of Flexible Working Hours and PC-OFF System
Lotte Duty Free announced on the 16th that it has been selected as a '2023 Leisure-Friendly Certified' company jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Regional Culture Promotion Agency.
The Leisure-Friendly Certification system supports employees in harmoniously balancing work and leisure by providing leisure time, expenses, and programs, and grants certification to companies that operate this system exemplary. Lotte Duty Free first obtained the Leisure-Friendly Certification in 2018 and has since been re-certified twice.
Lotte Duty Free operates a ‘staggered commuting system’ dividing commuting time into six groups in 30-minute increments, a flexible working system allowing autonomous work within 80 hours over two weeks, and a PC-OFF system that automatically shuts down work PCs after working hours. Additionally, it encourages the operation of in-house clubs by providing an annual activity budget of 10 million KRW per group.
