"Starting Strong as Firefighters" ... Changwon Fire Headquarters Holds Appointment Ceremony for New Firefighters
On the 6th, the Changwon Fire Headquarters in Gyeongnam held an appointment ceremony in the main conference room of the Fire Headquarters to mark the energetic start of new fire officers.
The newly appointed fire officers on this day include 11 general firefighters, 5 rescue personnel, and 1 emergency medical technician.
The appointment ceremony was held with about 40 attendees including family members and colleagues, proceeding in the order of awarding appointment letters, oath-taking, greetings, and commemorative photos.
They passed the fire officer recruitment exam last year and completed 19 weeks of training at the Central Fire Academy, acquiring basic knowledge and field practice (fire, rescue, emergency medical) necessary for fire service duties.
In particular, they will be assigned to field departments after undergoing a 5-week station internship, where they can directly experience sites in fields other than their own recruitment area.
