Seoul Facilities Corporation Creates Flower Road Along Gangbyeonbuk-ro
Seoul Facilities Corporation announced on the 3rd that it will enhance the convenience of citizens on Seoul's expressways by creating a chrysanthemum flower path along Gangbyeonbuk-ro and conducting greening work on Olympic-daero to welcome autumn.
First, the chrysanthemum flower path covering a 300m green area near the northern end of Hangang Bridge on Gangbyeonbuk-ro is expected to offer drivers a taste of autumn until the end of November.
In addition, from May to October this year, the corporation carried out pruning work on about 500 roadside trees and shrubs such as forsythia that obstruct the view of the Han River along the section from Cheongdam Bridge to Dongjak Bridge on Olympic-daero.

Seoul Facilities Corporation Director Hyung-yeong Han said, “We hope drivers on the expressways can enjoy the romance of autumn through the flower path and the view of the Han River,” adding, “We will continue to actively identify and apply improvements in the corporation’s facilities to contribute to making Seoul a more attractive city.”
