'One Morning' Reporter Kim Tae-min Dies at 45 from Cerebral Hemorrhage
MBC 'Live Morning Today' Hosted for 15 Years
Broadcaster Kim Tae-min passed away at the age of 45. The cause of death was a cerebral hemorrhage.
According to the bereaved family on the 31st of last month, Kim Tae-min returned home to his residence in Deungchon-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul, after finishing a live broadcast on the morning of the 30th of last month, took a nap, but did not wake up and passed away.
Kim Tae-min appeared as a reporter on MBC's 'Live Morning Today' for 15 years since 2008 and also appeared on the morning broadcast on the day of his death. It was reported that since he worked early to prepare and appear on the morning broadcast, he briefly returned home after the broadcast to take a nap.
The bereaved family requested an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death, and the autopsy result on the 31st of last month confirmed the cause as a cerebral hemorrhage.
His fellow broadcaster Oh Jung-tae mourned, saying, "My beloved younger brother has gone to heaven," and added, "I hope you achieve your dreams even there."

The funeral hall was set up in Room 8 of the funeral home at Ewha Seoul Hospital in Gangseo-gu, Seoul. The funeral procession will be held at 6 a.m. on the 2nd. The burial site is Baekje Seunghwawon.
