The Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) announced that it conducted the 2023 Disaster Response Safety Korea Drill on the 27th to enhance crisis response capabilities and protect lives and property in the event of disasters such as fires and earthquakes.
KISA conducted the 2023 Disaster Response Safe Korea Drill on Friday, the 27th, at the KISA Naju Headquarters.

KISA assumed a fire outbreak at its Naju headquarters and carried out various safety drills including ▲self-evacuation from fire ▲fire suppression by the self-defense fire brigade ▲use of fire extinguishers and smothering fire extinguishers ▲and strengthening of life-saving and initial response capabilities.
This drill was conducted as a joint firefighting exercise in cooperation with the Bitgaram 119 Safety Center (Naju City), simulating a real-life scenario. In particular, training on the use of smothering fire extinguishers was also conducted for the initial suppression of electric vehicle fires.

Kim Do-gyun, Head of KISA’s Safety Management Division, stated, “We plan to regularly conduct realistic drills to strengthen disaster response capabilities and promote a culture of safety. We also plan to establish a new disaster response system linked to business continuity by the end of the year.”
