Gwangju Police Agency Conducts Joint Anti-Terrorism Drill
The Gwangju Metropolitan Police Agency announced on the 24th that it recently conducted a joint anti-terrorism drill with related agencies at the National Gwangju Science Museum.
This drill was conducted concurrently with the 2023 Korea Disaster Safety Training, jointly hosted by the National Intelligence Service and Buk-gu Office.
It was carried out to enhance the police's integrated command capabilities and the joint response capacity of related agencies in the event of large-scale complex terrorism and disasters.
The exercise simulated responses to terrorism and disaster scenarios including firearm, hostage, and explosive attacks, building explosions and chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) attacks by drones, fires, and building collapses.
